How do I delete my account?

In the app, open the You tab, tap the gear to open Settings, then Account → Delete account and data. Your stars and stories are removed from everyone's sky, and your account with them. It can't be undone — you can always start again with a new wish.

To remove a single star instead, open it, tap the ••• button, and choose Delete my star.

How do I report a wish?

In the app, open the wish, tap the ••• button and choose Report wish, then pick a reason. You can also block the person who wrote it, and you won't see their wishes again. In the app, a wish reported by several people is hidden from everyone straight away.

On milkywish.com, open a wish and choose Report: it is sent to us for review. If something needs urgent attention, write to us as well.

How does location work?

When you launch a star, the app asks iOS for your approximate location — never your precise one — and rounds it again to about a kilometre before anything is stored. Your star is placed near there, and others see only the nearest place name, like "Near Lisbon", never a coordinate. Location is used only when you launch a star, never in the background.

If you don't allow location, your star still goes up, somewhere on Earth.

Wishes are visible in the app and on milkywish.com.
